‘Psycho’ The Hollywood reporter released the artwork for season 3 of Bates Motel. The tagline on the poster reads ‘Psycho’ which is a clear reference to the film for the first time. Bates Motel the series is of course a prequel leading up to the events in the 1960 Hitchcock classic but until now has not directly referenced the film. The new season starts Monday March 9th at 9/8c. Synopsis: “Bates Motel” is a contemporary prequel to the genre-defining film “Psycho,” and gives a portrayal of how Norman Bates’ (Freddie Highmore) psyche unravels through his teenage years. Fans discover the dark, twisted backstory of Norman Bates and how deeply intricate his relationship with his mother, Norma (Vera Farmiga), truly is. Comments comments
