A face only a mother could love. The Wrap reported that EastEnders star Sam Strike is in negotiations to star in Leatherface, the Texas Chainsaw Massacre prequel that is being produced by Millennium Films. The film is expected to be an origin story that follows Leatherface’s early years in the 1970s. No telling yet how far into his life the film will go. Perhaps it will be similar to Rob Zombie’s reimagining of Michael Myers in Halloween, where we get to see a lot more backstory on the character as a child, but we also get to see him grow up and do what he does best. Strike is nearing a deal to play Jackson, the teenager that grows up to become Leatherface. Comments comments
