In the spirit of The Blair Witch Project, an American documentary crew travels to the Ukraine to investigate real-life serial-killer and cannibal Andrei Chikatilo and ends up getting more experience than they bargained for when they encounter the supernatural. Looks like Chikatilo is as hungry as ever.

Ghoul has already been released in the Czech Republic, breaking local box office records. It premieres in the US on March 20.

While filming a documentary about cannibalism of the 20th century, a crew of American filmmakers must face the real life story of one of the most violent serial killers of all time, Andrei Romanovich Chikatilo, a cannibal who killed more than 50 people. They travel to an area of Ukraine where people have been mysteriously disappearing, and ultimately deep into the Ukraine forest where they find themselves trapped in a supernatural hunting ground.
