Straight from her success on ‘It Follows’

In news announced from Roland Emmerich’s personal Twitter account, it has been revealed that Maika Monroe will be joining the cast of the much anticipated Independence Day 2.

 

Monroe has been enjoying much success after the surprise indy hit It Follows hit cinemas earlier this month.

The plot for the sequel is currently unknown at this point. She will join Liam Hemsworth and Jeff Goldblum among others, for a release date of June 24 2016.
