It’s so good to see you again.

A&E just gave us our first look at Damien, its upcoming series that serves as a sequel to The Omen. Bradley James (MerliniZombie) stars as the titular character, all grown up since the events of the 1976 movie. The teaser doesn’t give us much in the way of information or visuals, but it does convey the mood of the series pretty well.

The ten-episode ‘Damien’ follows the adult life of Damien Thorn (James), the mysterious child from the 1976 film who has grown up, seemingly unaware of the satanic forces around him. Haunted by his past, Damien must now come to terms with his true destiny — that he is the Antichrist, the most feared man throughout the ages.

Glen Mazzara of The Walking Dead is exclusively writing and executive-producing the ten-episode series.
