Netflix has just released the trailer for Between, an upcoming survivalist thriller series fromaward-winning writer/director Michael McGowan and starring Jennette McCurdy. The twist here is that it’s about a disease that kills everyone in a town who’s over 21 years old. That promises some interesting dynamics that you don’t normally get in your average zombie/virus story. ‘Between’ is the story of a town under siege from a mysterious disease that has wiped out everybody except those 21 years old and under. The series explores the power vacuum that results when a government has quarantined a 10-mile diameter area and left the inhabitants to fend for themselves. Counter to the usual Netflix system, episodes will be released one week at a time, starting on May 21. The season will consist of six one-hour episodes in total. Comments comments
