Something to sink your teeth into…

For those of you who were too young (or very possibly not even born yet) to catch the horror classic, Jaws, in theaters and instead had to settle with a lame DVD – now’s your second chance to see the deep blue horror on the big screen!

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the film’s release, Fathom Events will be releasing the classic film in 500 theatres across the country starting June 21st with an encore showing on June 24th.  Afternoon and Evening showings will have a special introduction buy guest host TCM’s Ben Mankiewicz (What the Flick, Young Turks, I am Steve Mcqueen).

I don’t know about you people but I for one will be there laughing way too hard at the 70’s attempt at special effects and jumping at the scary parts I already know are coming. There’s just nothing like seeing a shark tear apart limbs on a gigantic screen with a bunch of hardcore fans. I’ll be there. Will you?
