June, you’ve betrayed us! A new month usually brings so much to look forward to, at least when it comes to horror movies arriving on Netflix. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, June presents a bad harvest on the horror front. Still, it’s about time for an update on newly available streaming titles, so here you go: R.L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour: Don’t Think About It and Mostly Ghostly These two Disney channel movies based on books by R.L. Stine (of Goosebumps fame) are the only horror movies coming to Netflix this month. In The Haunting Hour: Don’t Think About It, a goth girl unintentionally unleashes a two-headed “Evil Thing” on her brother when she reads from a mysterious book. Mostly Ghostly is about a kid named Max who makes friends with two ghosts in his basement. In exchange for helping them find eternal rest, they agree to help him win the heart of his crush. Both will be available on June 1st.
