You have to care… MTV’s Scream is gearing up for its premiere on June 30th with a new promo that doesn’t give you an option. You have to care. Their trailers and promos have been very clever in providing these metatextual voice-overs from the series’ apparent equivalent of Randy, though it remains to be seen if they’ll ultimately be as insightful as the films. The show synopsis: What starts as a YouTube video going viral, soon leads to problems for the teenagers of Lakewood and serves as the catalyst for a murder that opens up a window to the town’s troubled past.
