It’s okay if it’s not real.

Thanks to San Diego Comic Con, a new trailer for Sinister 2 is out, with Bughuul and his children here to haunt your nightmares.

The synopsis:

The sequel to the 2012 sleeper hit horror movie. In the aftermath of the shocking events in “Sinister,” a protective mother (Shannyn Sossamon of “Wayward Pines”) and her 9-year-old twin sons (real-life brothers Robert and Dartanian Sloan) find themselves in a rural house marked for death as the evil spirit of Bughuul continues to spread with frightening intensity.

Sinister 2 is written by Scott Derrickson (the director of the first film) and C. Robert Cargill and stars Shannyn Sossamon, James Ransone, Robert and Dartanian Sloan. Ciarán Foy takes over directing duty from Derrickson.

Sinister 2 comes to theaters on August 21.
