Coming off the very well-received What We Do In The Shadows, a mockumentary about a group of vampires living it up (that I still desperately want to see), Studio 8 is working on a remake of F.W. Murnau’s classic Nosferatu, according to Deadline. And they’ve recruited Robert Eggers for the project, the director of the Sundance-hit The Witch. I know I’m supposed to complain at this point about yet another remake, and Hollywood running out of ideas, etc., but considering that Nosferatu is a silent film and they have Eggers on board, it might not be so bad.
