A woman must have a thorough knowledge of singing, dancing…and the art of war.

It’s finally here! The much awaited trailer and release date for the film adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith’s novel Pride and Prejudice and Zombies has been unleashed.  The film was written and directed by Burr Steers and stars Lily James, Lena Headey, Matt Smith, Douglas Booth, Suki Waterhouse, Charles Dance, and Sam Riley.

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies is a reimagining of Jane Austen’s classic novel about tangled relationships between young people of different social classes, but in addition to issues revolving around class, gender, and propriety, the bright and witty protagonist Elizabeth Bennet must also navigate the hordes of zombies that are a daily–and dangerous– nuisance.

If you want to see women kicking ass and taking names (honestly, who wouldn’t love that?), the film will reach theaters in the United States on February 5th, 2016.  Check out the trailer below!
