A bro never leaves a bro behind. One thing that’s sorely lacking in the horror genre is the celebration of the bromance. For those NOT in the know, a bromance is “a close, emotionally intense, non-sexual bond between two (or more) men. It is an exceptionally tight affectional, homosocial male bonding relationship that exceeds that of usual friendship, that is distinguished by a particularly high level of emotional intimacy.” (Thanks Wikipedia!) There just simply aren’t many bromances in horror movies, and that’s sad, because sometimes all a bro needs to fight a warlock or eradicate a pack of zombies is his bro. Two L.A. filmmakers created a trailer for a fake (but should be real, let’s be honest) horror movie just in time for Halloween called bro. It’s about two bros who head out on a journey to Sea World together when weird things start happening. The TV starts randomly playing Mario Kart, their beer pong table suddenly collapses (the horror!), and there’s a skull funnel in the garbage. Check out the trailer here and follow them on Twitter for more info. We’re totally brosessed. Comments comments
