Talk about a messed up childhood…

Ethan Hawke (Training Day, Gattaca), and Emma Watson (Harry Potter, This is The End) star in the upcoming horror thriller Regression , and if the trailer is any indication this one might be horrifically enchanting. Directed by Alejandro Amenaba (The Others) the film takes us down a rabbit hole complete with trauma induced amnesia, rabid townies, and a possible world wide secret satanic society (Illuminati anyone?). Don’t know about you but I think things just got interesting…

The new extended U.S. trailer submerges deeper into the dank dark town giving us a taste of the slow unfolding of this eerie and perplexing taste. It’s like everyone know’s a secret but no one’s willing to tell. The cuts aren’t as fast so we get bigger snippets of scenes and dialogue which draws us into their world even more. “I just get the feeling with this case that it’s a part of something…bigger…”, I think you’re on to something there Ethan. What do you guys think, is this trailer hit or miss?
