Mick Fanning, famous surfer, avoided his own Real World Horror on Sunday night by literally punching a shark that tried to attack him during the J-Bay Open in South Africa.

The J-Bay Open is a worldwide surfing event, that has since been cancelled. Below is the Video of Fanning and Bruce in action. Courtesy of The Guardian:

Fanning described what happened: “I just saw the fin, I didn’t see the teeth. I was waiting for the teeth to come at me as I was swimming … I punched it in the back.”
