G’day mate.

Just when you thought Australian wildlife couldn’t get more terrifying, Octopod Films and Veritas Entertainment, in association with Deadpan Films, upped the game.  Waterborne (2014) was directed by Ryan Coonan and is a short and sweet tale of terror from Down Under.

Waterborne features two characters (more if you count the kangaroos), a tried-and-true horror theme, and some stellar special effects.  It also combines the zombie genre and bio-horror genre in a fun way that doesn’t get too preachy about environmentalism and conservation.  Plus it has kangaroos. Who doesn’t like kangaroos?
