Sometimes survival is worse than death.

Realistically, how exactly would one survive the zombie apocalypse? You would need a never ending supply of water, food, tools, and ammunition to protect yourself.  In addition to that, it would require inner strength, endurance, and an iron will to survive.  But if society has crumbled and all of your friends and family members have either died or have been zombified, is survival really worth it?

Aaron McCann and Stefan Androv Radanovich’s short film Perished is about a man’s struggle to live in the wake of a zombie outbreak.  He quarantines himself in a storage shed and abandons all semblance of his humanity to ensure his survival.  The consequential violence is bloody, brutal, and incredibly well done in terms of SFX.  Perished stars Wayne Davies and has a run time of 15 minutes.
